At Troy Christian Chapel, we have committed ourselves to the Biblical principles of unity, celebration and spiritual growth. Our worship is designed to reflect these concerns and is drawn from the richness of Christian history as well as from contemporary forms. We affirm both the freedom of expression and the dignity of good taste in our worship forms.
Our worship is expressed in singing, in prayer, in sharing, in proclamation and instruction, and in the celebration of the Lord's Table. In our worship, we hope to ensure that our freedom in worship will not surrender to either fanaticism or ritualism, and that our openness to one another will never be used to exploit one another.
The version of the Bible we use for public worship is the English Standard Version (ESV). While there are several excellent translations of the Scriptures, we have chosen the ESV because it provides a readable English text while maintaining a strong commitment to accuracy in translation of the original languages.
We celebrate the Lord's Table on the first Sunday of each month and on the third Sunday of alternate months. Our regularly-scheduled weekly services are shown below.
- Sunday School - 9:00 a.m.
- Coffee Break - 10:00 a.m.
- Worship Service - 10:30 a.m.
- Midweek Worship & Bible Study - 7:00 p.m.
